FAQ of Level Two

Why should I attend the Level two? What will be the benefits of Level two?

In Level Two you acknowledge on a heart level that it is no longer sufficient for you to just have the skills and fulfil the basic duties of an instructor. To reach the next level means assessing where you are in your commitment to authenticity, and offering yourself up to transformation. This has never been a solo journey, and Level Two is no exception.

The Level two gives you a deeper experience of kundalini yoga. The idea of Level two is to apply it in you and your life. It deepens your spiritual life. As a teacher it makes a difference and students notice that. There is a difference; teachings does not come any more from the books, teachings come from you.

When can I begin Level two training?

Level two is open to KRI Level One Certified Instructors. The 300-hour/2-year certification program consists of five 62-hour modules and fulfils the Yoga Alliance 500-hour requirement. Graduates of Level two earn the title of Certified Practitioner of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®.

What are the five modules of Level two training?

The modules are:

Authentic Relationships

Life Cycles, life Styles

Mind and Meditation

Vitality and Stress

Is there requirements how fast I should study all moduls of Level two (like level one in two years)?

The requirement is not to finish Level two in less than 2 years. You can take 1 or 2 modules of Level two max per year. In other words, you can take from 2,5 years to 10 years (or more) to do all 5 modules of Level two. Each module is taken individually and you sign up to one at the time.

After each one you will have an exam and receive a certificate. When you have gathered all 5 certificates of each modules, you will send them to KRI and receive the final diploma of Level two.

Where can I study Level two?

You do not have to study all modules in Finland. You are able to study Level two modules where ever you want and choose from different teachers. There will be Level two module once a year in Finland.

Do I have to teach regularly before taking Level two module?

Teaching is always recommended, as a general principle, if you have Level one. But if you haven't done that yet, Level two could turn to be 1st step in that direction if that is one of the paths you want to take.

When and where the next Level two module will be organized in Finland?

The next Level 2 module will be organized between the 30th of April to the 5th of May 2015 with Gurudass Kaur in Frantsila. The theme will be "Conscious Communications".
